November Night of Prayer & Praise

Join Us As We Prepare

Hello everyone and thank you for stopping by.

The Advent and Christmas season is quickly approaching. Trust me, it will be here before you know it!

With this season comes family and office parties, special events, and for many of us a lot of cooking and eating. In other words, a very full calendar. All of this creates an excellent opportunity for us to point people to Jesus.

So, to help us be ready for these moments and walk faithfully in the good work He has prepared for us, Candia Congregational Church and The Seacoast Gospel Movement invite you to a night of prayer and praise!

This event is designed to provide the Church an opportunity to come together to worship our Heavenly Father and to lift up our lives and the lives of our loved ones so that we will be prepared to celebrate Jesus throughout the season and help those around us find him.

We look forward to worshipping with you and how God will use this night to grow His church.

Blessings,

Pastor Steve Baker

Things You Might Want To Know

Saturday, November 18th at 4 PM

Candia Congregational Church

1 South Rd.

Candia, NH 03034

The night will be centered on praising God and praying for our communities. The structure we are currently planning on will be something like this;

  • A brief welcome, an explanation of the night, and a prayer.
  • A song or two to call us into a presence of worship
  • Three area pastors will lead us in three distinct moments of prayer. Each moment of prayer will be transitioned to the next with music that reinforces our prayers.
  • We will conclude the evening with a benediction and a song or two of praise and celebration of who our God is and what He has promised to do.

This will be about an hour to an hour and a half.

After the time of Prayer and Prayer, everyone is invited downstairs for some food, a fire, and great company.

Absolutely Yes!

We do encourage families to praise and pray together. After all, the best way to show our love for God to our kids is for them to see us praising Him and praying to Him.

We also understand that kids do need a way to do their own praising, praying, and playing. Therefore, we are planning a program for our kiddos that will help them do just that!

Nope!

We only want you to bring yourself, a family member, or a friend, and a readiness to pray and worship God.

Nope.

This is a night of praise and prayer and our desire is for people to come to him freely.

We will not be asking for a love offering or asking you to join a group. We do want to encourage you all to be generous as God has been generous with us, and look to find ways that you can meet the practical needs of those in your community.

I love this question and thank you for wanting to serve.

If you desire and can volunteer this night, please email our Ministry Coordinator, Deb Puderbaugh, at office@candiacongregational.org.

Currently, we need the following:

  • Youth Volunteers
  • Parking Helpers
  • People to set up
  • People to tear down

Also, help us get the word out! This is an important time of the year. We have an incredible opportunity to share the love of Jesus and help those far from him draw near.

We have been called by God to do this together!

The Seacoast Gospel Movement is a collection of churches with the purpose “To engage, enable, and enlist every follower of Jesus in our region so that every person becomes a committed follower of Jesus who engages others.”

We earnestly believe that God is calling the local churches to unite to be The Church so the Gospel can be lived out in word and deed.

Seacoast Gospel Movement participating area churches include:

Bow Lake Free Will Baptist Church – Strafford, NH

Candia Congregational Church – Candia, NH

Danville Baptist Church – Danville, NH

Deerfield Bible Church – Deerfield, NH
